Those were the days. I remember my best Christmas. I was 5. I got Darth Vader's TIE fighter and Castle Grayskull. Some of my siblings can still tell you how excited I was about that.

The other important thing I learned from that Christmas is that if you give someone a gift and they cry, that is a really good thing. The kids had gone out and had our group picture taken professionally and gave it to my Mom and Dad and it was a complete surprise. My mom cried. And I don't mean one tear ran down her eye like that old Native American guy in those commercials way back when, I mean she CRIED. And of course, being 5, and seeing your mom cry, I started to cry too. What can I say.
The next best Christmas was when we finally got a Nintendo. Boy I begged and begged for months for one of those. You know the bit, "If I get that I won't ever ask for anything ever again." Still one of the best inventions ever. You know it was when you get your XBox, PS3, or Wii especially, and you are excited to find out there is a way to play those old games again. Enough about Xmas. A few pics though.
"You'd better come correct in my hood or OGB, that's me,and my gang of pink bunnies will peel a cap. For real."
The new year started phase 2 of the "Get into the Best Shape of My Live" campaign. Diet. This has had a few perks. We went out and bought a cook book before the new year. This was no ordinary cook book. It is all healthy food that is easy to cook and really quick to prepare. Being that neither Jenni or I cook, we figured this is the best way to start. It has gone amazingly well. We cook every meal, watch what we eat, and save money on not eating out all of the time. On top of that, since the new year, I have already lost 15 lbs. It really is about diet and exercise. So far it has been a really good year. I hope it stays that way.
I had to take a few weeks off from running around the holidays. Being that I am pretty tubby and that I was running so much, I developed shin splints. But I'm back in the running game and ready to go. We are already planning to run in a few races this spring and summer. We'll see how that goes. I've never ran in a race before, but that alone is a reason to do it.

Love the picture of OGB. I had a killer run tonight, did a little weights at home. I need warm weather, really want to get outside.
Dr. Galles: I have what I think might be a hip pointer. Or cancer. I am not quite sure yet.
